在捷克首都布拉格举行的2016年度国际质量创新大赛颁奖仪式上，李锦记健康产品集团成员无限极（中国）有限公司（以下简称「无限极」）凭借自主创新项目「中草药保健食品工艺、质量一体化技术创新」，荣获本届「社会和医疗类」国际质量创新奖。

本届大赛共有西班牙、捷克、芬兰、瑞典、中国等11个国家参加。其中，包括无限极在内的6家中国企业的6个项目，取得了1个一等奖、5个入围奖的成绩。这也是中国企业和项目在国际质量创新大赛的舞台上首次亮相。

作为质量创新领域的一项国际竞赛，该项赛事要求每个国家在每个类别只能推荐1个项目参赛。本次中国推荐的企业和项目由中国质量协会从全国50多家企业中选出，覆盖包括航空航天、铁路、石油等20多个行业。最终，无限极不负所望，作为唯一代表中国参加「社会和医疗类」竞赛的企业，荣获该类别奖项。

无限极作为一家主营中草药健康产品的企业，建立了完善的全产业链质量安全管理体系，并不断提高产品生产工艺耐用性、质量稳定性、生产过程可控性和自动化水平，引领中草药健康产业发展。

无限极本次参赛的项目技术已在多个中草药健康产品中应用。该技术能有效提升中草药原料利用率、大幅缩短检测周期、生产效率提升100%，并能节能减排，效果和效益显著，具有较强的推广性和实用性。

At the Quality Innovation Award 2016 ceremony recently held in Prague, Czech, Infinitus (China) Company Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Infinitus”), a member of LKK Health Products Group (LKKHPG), received the "International Finalist in the Category of Social & Health Care Sector Innovations" award for its "Innovation in Processing and Quality Control Technologies for Herbal Nutraceutical Production" project.

The 2016 competition saw 11 participating countries including Spain, Czech, Finland, Sweden and China. Among them, six Chinese companies including Infinitus won six awards for their six projects, including one first prize and five finalist awards. This is the first time that Chinese companies and their projects have won Quality Innovation Awards.

As an international competition in quality innovation, the event requires each country to recommend only one project in each category in which it participates. The companies and projects submitted by China for the 2016 event were selected by the China Association for Quality from more than 50 companies in more than 20 industries across the country, including aerospace, railways and oil. Eventually, Infinitus, as the sole representative of China in the category of social & health care sector, won the award.

Infinitus, a company specialising in Chinese herbal health products, has built an established quality and safety management system covering the entire industry chain, constantly improved the durability of its production processes and the consistency in the quality of its products, as well as implemented a high level of process control and automation across all of its production processes, establishing itself as the trendsetter across the Chinese herbal health industry.

The technology featured in the project submitted by Infinitus has been used in many Chinese herbal health products. It enhances the utilization rate of Chinese herbal medicine materials, significantly shortening the amount of time needed for product testing, while doubling production efficiency by 100%, reducing the amount of energy needed for production and cutting emissions. The increase in the therapeutic effectiveness of the end products alone justifies the investment in and the attention being paid to the technology.
